Celebrating the Arts

Every year Dallas First Church (DFC) plans a weekend on which we celebrate and seek to better understand the intersection of art and faith. Special speakers, music and other elements make the Celebration of the Arts an extremely memorable experience. In addition to morning programs, Saturday night features a full gallery of local art displayed in professional environments and juried by professional Dallas artists. Submission to the gallery is free of charge as well as admission to all the weekend's activities. (Artists can register their works online under the "Registration" menu by June 5, 2011). The celebration continues on Sunday with a number of art classes taught by professionals on the DFC campus.
